Time to Quilt

My mom is an avid quilter. A genius with material, design and dedication. She is a perfectionist... and won't stop until she knows it has been done right.

So what does this mean? It means she is the lady I need to learn to quilt from. Learn from the best and you will probably have a better chance of producing something really special. So mom had me rummage through bags and bags of scrap material to find my favorite pieces... and then I was off.

I've fiddled on a sewing machine before, but I did have to relearn the comfort of sewing, and I am having a blast putting together this quilt. It's simple, it's basic, and it's just what I need to start my first quilt!
